Happy New Year from Dorm Room Movers. We’re officially back and gearing up for what’s shaping up to be an exciting 2026.
January is a reset month on campus. Many schools are just getting back into the swing of things, classes are starting up again, and the spring semester is settling in. While move out season may feel far off right now, this is when the groundwork starts.
Behind the scenes, our team is already preparing for the end of the academic year. Our logistics team is coordinating with our moving and storage partners, aligning timelines, and working closely with residence life teams to make sure everything is in place well before move outs begin.
At the same time, our marketing team is getting ready to share clear information and helpful reminders throughout the semester, so students know what to expect when move out season approaches. The goal is simple. Make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible when the time comes.
Experience has taught us that the work done early in the year is what makes a big difference later. Planning ahead allows us to support students, campuses, and families more effectively once the semester starts moving quickly.
