This year has been extremely challenging, so it’s tough to see the light when 2020 has bombarded us with negativativity, and so I’d like to take this opportunity to take a step back to find those little nuggets of hope to express gratitude.
To our students: You’ve faced an enormous amount of uncertainty and challenges regarding your education, but you’ve found ways to simply get it done. Your patience and diligence is extremely appreciated and couldn’t be happier to serve your storage and shipping needs.
To our campus partners and non-partners: There were a ton of moving parts (no pun intended) to get logistics in a place where it was efficient and safe for all, but that hard work paid off because we’re in a position where we can help the students safely. Thank you for being clear and concise. We couldn’t do the logistics on our end without your guidance.
To our customer service team and logistics team: You have been working non-stop since the COVID-19 outbreak and no matter how tough things get, you’re able to find solutions. It’s extremely impressive and inspiring. Thank you for your passion, determination, and expertise.
To the founders of DRM: Thank you for treating the staff, our partners, and working relationships like humans instead of just numbers. We do what we do because we feel empowered in our positions, so thank you for that.
Leaving it behind: In the film, “Batman Begins”, Bruce Wayne as a child, falls into a well. After being rescued by Bruce’s father, Thomas, he asked Bruce, “Why do we fall, Bruce? So we can learn to pick ourselves up.” For as many times 2020 has bombarded us with negativity, we’ve learned to keep our head up and keep pressing forward. As 2020 begins to close, let’s focus on those little nuggets of hope to keep us going. Happy Thanksgiving!
